Tattooing For Girls

‘And one day she discovered that she was fierce, and strong, and full of fire, and that not even she could hold herself back because her passion burned brighter than her fears’ – Mark Anthony
Powerful girls and women are undoubtedly, a statement in themselves. They hardly need jewelry or flamboyant attires to prove themselves. They know that they can achieve whatever their heart desires, but somehow our society requires them to prove it again and again. ‘Tattoo Art’ is slowly but steadily becoming a choice option for these women who wish to proclaim their fierceness for the society as well as themselves with designs or memoirs that are somehow close to their heart or their mindsets.

Tattooing is a huge inclination of passion for actresses in Hollywood. Angelina Jolie, Penelope Cruz, Cheryl, Jessica Alba, Emma Watson and even Victoria Beckham and Rihanna own their unique tattoos that they adore and love to flaunt. Even our very own bolly-wood female celebrities are not behind in their love for getting inked. The oh-so-famous Priyanka Chopra’s ‘daddy’s girl’ tattoo, Deepika Padukone’s ‘RK’ tattoo, is famous like the celebrities who own them. Even Anoushka Sharma, Alia Bhatt, Jacqueline Fernandez have got inked. Esha Deol, coming from an elite bolly-wood family and a prestigious modeling and movie career got her famous Sanskrit language tattoo by the master craftsmen, Aman Masta. Point being that; for fashion, or to imprint their mindsets, or to try to ink a memory, they have had it in them to break chauvinistic stereotypes and were even ready to bear pain for it.

There are many choices for an open minded woman in terms of the tattoos that she can opt for. It could be the large shaded ones with exaggerate designs and varied colors, or it could be something small that holds a special place in their hearts. Generally stating, in recent years, the choice of more and more females have been shifting towards smaller, minimalist style tattoos, rather than the traditional ink heavy ones. It definitely does not mean that girls have a specific choice. Rather, its shows that girls are not limited to only getting colorful ‘girly tattoos’ as they were earlier called.

Dainty tattoos at easily visible places like near the ankle, wrists, nape, etc. are the boom these days. But, girls or boys, everyone should be careful about what you chose and where you chose as tattooing is a small surgery in itself. They permeate inside your skin and become a part of you. Thus, if a tattoo goes wrong; deleting it or altering it shall further take a whole lot of pain and work. According to us, ‘Inking’ is always a good idea. If you want it, go for the best; but chose the design and your story wisely.
